Try a fictional sample:

Works with text PDFs that have Date, Description, Paid in / Paid out (or Amount) and Balance columns. Scanned or photographed statements are not supported yet. The samples are fictional test data.

Revolut support is in beta. Revolut accounts can hold several currencies, so check that the statement you convert is the pound-sterling one. A GBP statement with money in, money out and balance columns may convert already; we haven’t tested a real one yet.

How to download your Revolut statement as a PDF

  1. Open the Revolut app (or Revolut Business on the web).
  2. Go to the account in the currency you need, usually GBP.
  3. Look for Statements, choose PDF, and pick the period.
  4. Save or share the PDF to your computer.

If you hold several currencies, generate a separate statement for each one. The converter is built for pound-sterling statements.

Menu names change from time to time and can differ between the app and the website. If you can’t find statements, search for “statements” in the app or online banking help.

What to check on your Revolut statement

Check your statement for the currency it covers, a date, a description, money in and money out columns and a running balance. If you exchanged currencies, check how those exchanges appear on the GBP statement.

Which export to choose

Personal users usually want the CSV for Excel. Revolut Business users with accounting software can choose Xero or QuickBooks, though check whether a direct connection already covers the period.

Common issues with Revolut statements

Support status: beta

StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some Revolut statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real Revolut statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.

You can help: click Help us support this layout under the result. It creates a report of the statement’s layout in your browser, with every name, amount, reference and account number replaced by x and 1. Email it to support@statementtocsv.co.uk. When Revolut is tested, it will be announced on the updates page.

StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Revolut. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.

Questions people ask

Does StatementToCSV work with Revolut statements?

Revolut is in beta. GBP statements with the usual columns may already convert, and the balance check shows whether every row was read.

Can I convert a Revolut statement in euros or dollars?

The converter is built for pound-sterling statements. Other currencies may work but haven’t been tested.

Why are currency exchanges in my CSV?

If money moved between your currency balances changes the GBP balance, it appears on the statement as a transaction.
