Barclays customers often want a statement in Excel to total income for a mortgage, sort spending into categories, or hand records to an accountant. Converting the PDF statement gives you exactly the rows on the statement, with the balances checked.

Barclays’s own download, or the PDF statement?

Barclays online banking can also export recent transactions as a file. That’s a reasonable option for a short, recent period. It’s less useful when you need older periods, need figures that match the statements an accountant or lender will see, or have been sent Barclays PDF statements by someone else. That’s where converting the PDF comes in.

Working with Barclays transactions in Excel

Support status: beta

StatementToCSV reads statements by their columns, not with a fixed template for each bank, so some Barclays statements may already convert. But we haven’t yet tested a real Barclays statement, so we don’t claim support. Verified means every extracted row adds up to the balances printed on the statement. If you don’t see Verified, the converter shows you where the balances stopped adding up.

StatementToCSV is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Barclays. The name is used only to describe the statements the converter reads.
